BAGS OF LOVE

Bags of Love is just another way for VLM and the community to show love and appreciation to all our military veterans for their service and sacrifice. It is our hope that this small token of gratitude helps elevates a veteran’s moral, help deter suicides, send a clear message of positivity, ensures the veteran is confident in knowing that they are not forgotten, and to simply say “thank you!”  This effort is 100% funded by generous people like you, and will consist of various items like non-perishable snacks, toiletries, socks, gloves, hats, gift cards etc., as well as items for military animals both local and deployed.

PARTNER IN PAW (VLM SERVICE ANIMAL PROGRAM)

Partner in Paw Animal Service Program was inspired by VLM’s Founder’s service dog, Azure. This inspiration has proven that having a service animal promotes independence, and self-confidence makes the owner aware of the surrounding dangers, helps with the struggles of isolation and loneliness, and relieves symptoms of depression.

VLM advocates for and assist Veterans (who are not yet service connected) to obtain the companionship of a service animal, as well as the Veterans with their own dogs that require service animal training resources. We will also offer those Veterans assistance with nutrition and veterinarian care for service animals.
